Hello guys, on this occasion we are going to talk about a new unit of our book, in this case we will talk about Controversial Issues is an expression in English that is used to refer to topics or issues that generate strong debates, disagreements and divergent opinions in society. These topics typically involve ethical, political, social, or moral issues about which people have passionate and often divided opinions.

We will focus on talking about controversial topics in politics here in our country, among these we have:

Health Reform: The debate over the best way to provide health services, such as the single-run health system provided by the government versus private health.

Immigration Policy: Discussions on immigration laws, border security, and the treatment of undocumented immigrants.

Gun Control: The regulation of firearms and the debate over the interpretation of the Second Amendment.

Climate Change Policy: Discrepancies in environmental policies, such as carbon emissions regulations and the government's role in addressing climate change.

Foreign Policy: Controversies related to international relations, including military interventions, trade agreements and diplomatic strategies.
